An Update on Sadie!!

I adopted Sadie, the three-legged bulldog... I wanted to give y'all an update and let you know that she is just an awesome dog! She and I bonded from the moment I got her. She is very smart, I taught her to sit and lay down the very first day. She now understands phrases like "Wanna go outside?", "Get in the truck." (though she needs help), "Get in your box." (she sleeps in a crate at night), "Clean up" (when she makes a mess with food/treats), as well as the obvious "No", "Come", "Get down", etc. She is definitely an inside dog. I feel like I need to get a sign that says, "This is the dog's house, she just lets me stay here"! The couch is definitely hers, she'll push you off if you don't give her enough room to stretch out! She is my side kick for sure. There is no where I can go without her right by my side. Everyone that meets Sadie absolutely falls in love with her. We go for a daily walk around the pier area, and there are certain places we have to stop each day so folks can say hello, not to mention all the tourists! She just sits and smiles and enjoys all the attention. And if for some reason we don't get to go on our walk, believe me, she'll make me regret it when I get home from work! She has chewed up two sets of fireplace candles, etc... and the list goes on. But I don't care, she can chew up anything she wants, as long as she is there when I get home..but I do make sure she has raw hides now. It is the funniest thing to watch her when I get home from work. She doesn't just wag her tail, she wags her entire back end! She does circles, and she can pivot really good on that front leg! You would be surprised at how good she can jump! I really can't put into words how much I appreciate all the things the employees of Glynn County Animal Control did to save Sadie's life, and I know she is appreciative. She is truly a blessing to me and my family. She is now 100% healthy and I pray she stays that way. Rest assured that she is well taken care of..I believe the appropriate word is SPOILED!! Many thanks to you all!!!

"Sadie"
Please help us find a good home!
